A reversible ceramic vase inspired by the sea.
Finding the right vase for a small floral gift isn’t always easy. With Cephora, I set out to create a versatile, sculptural object inspired by marine life that solves this everyday challenge with style.
This industrial design study explores form, function, and flexibility. Using a 3D printer and ceramic materials, I developed a dual-function prototype. Much like a Bundt cake mold, Cephora features two internal chambers. When displaying a larger bouquet, the wide opening on top is used. For a single flower or smaller arrangement, the vase can be flipped 180 degrees, revealing a narrower opening.
The result is a beautiful, tactile object that adapts to different needs while bringing a natural, ocean-inspired elegance to any setting.
